SASHA'S STORY: Sasha is about 2 to 3 years old German Shepherd and Chihuahua Mix. Sasha is small, only about 17 lbs. She was found on the streets of Taiwan, hit by a car and was paralyzed. She was rescued by a volunteer who paid for her treatment. She has now recovered and can walk again. However, she is not 100% stable, yet. Sometimes, Sasha will fall over. Other than recovering and healing her legs, Sasha is very healthy and sweet. Sasha is a friendly, calm and affectionate dog. She loves being with people and is good with dogs and cats. Sasha is leash trained and crate trained. She doesn't bark and just loves to be petted and sit next to you. She would walk and pee/poop at the same time. We've seen her fall and sit down on the ground too (see one of the photos attached). For anyone interested in Sasha, please consider her a handicap dog even though she doesn't need a wheelchair or help to potty.
